Getting started
BYLT Toolkit is one plugin made of modules. Install it once, then switch on the modules each site needs.
1. Install the plugin
- In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New and search for BYLT Toolkit.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
- A new Toolkit item appears in the admin menu.
Have a Pro license? Start a trial or enter your key under Toolkit → Account. Pro modules unlock right away; there’s no second plugin to install.
2. Switch on modules
Open Toolkit → Modules, tick the modules you want and click Save modules. Each module that has options adds a section to Toolkit → Settings.
3. Add the store locator to a page
Use this shortcode in any page or page builder:
[[bylt_store_locator radius="25" category="grocery" product_filter="yes"]]
Store import columns
Column names can be in any order; you match them after uploading. Only the street address is required, plus a ZIP or city and state.
| Column | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Retailer | Sprouts | Stores with the same retailer share one map icon |
| Store Number | 0201 | Re-imports update a store instead of duplicating it |
| Address, City, State, ZIP | 1150 E 2100 S, Salt Lake City, UT, 84106 | Located on the map once, at import |
| Website | sprouts.com/store/… | Used to find the retailer’s icon |
| Category | Grocery, Specialty | New names become categories automatically |
| Products | SKU-NCW, SKU-LEAN | SKUs, IDs or slugs; blank means every product |
For developers
Add a settings section from your own plugin with the bylt_settings_tabs filter:
add_filter( 'bylt_settings_tabs', function ( $tabs ) {
$tabs['my-module'] = 'My Module';
return $tabs;
} );
add_action( 'bylt_settings_tab_my-module', 'my_module_settings' );
